Matt Meyer and his firm Matt Meyer Trails is a family business based in South Africa that provides travelers with “concierge guide service” in the wilderness throughout Africa.

With 25 years of experience, Matt does it all. He leads his groups through the rain forests of Uganda, hiking up mountains to view Mountain Gorillas. He brings them to Madagascar, where they can catch glimpses of lemurs in the forest canopy. He also takes groups on the more mundane tagging of Painted Wolves (African Wild Dogs) in the Kalahari Desert of South Africa, all the while building multi-media content that augments their experiences.

Whether he is building webinar content for Natural Habitat Adventures, or providing location assistance for wildlife documentaries with All Around Project, he’s made a reputation for competence and conviviality. The support of his wife Noa and daughter Violet allows Matt to be in the field for longer periods on more complex projects.

Regina Mundi likes Matt because he is bringing innovation to wildlife experiences. Through his journey from farm boy through institutional Field Ranger to the present as a wildlife educator & employer, Matt works to sensitize adults and children about the importance they each play in the natural environment, whether as global adventurers or as local community members living in local ecosystems.

Matt has built larger collaborations across environmental advocates from conservancy stewards through media outlets. Matt also is committing his considerable multi-media talents to produce creative work which he then converts to NFTs (non-fungible tokens) on a blockchain. The sales proceeds of these fund participation for young learners in natural experiences which, in Matt’s words, are “… providing the tools to open the gateways for the next generations to become wildlife professionals…” and encouraging the “…dreams of an engaged future with wildlife.”
