(Cape Town, South Africa)
June Luna is an American who moved to Cape Town in 2009. In 2012, she graduated from the University of Cape Town with her postgraduate LLB degree and commenced working in legal publishing. She later completed her articles of association with a boutique law firm and was admitted as an attorney in the Republic of South Africa shortly thereafter.
Throughout her years of practicing South African immigration law, she has successfully assisted hundreds of foreign persons from all over the world and of all ages to reside, work, study, invest and visit South Africa.
June, her husband John (Irish expat), and her two children are settled into the Cape Town community as permanent members rather than transients. That commitment to South Africa, as a family, is what makes June unique amongst her peers, and she is literally her own customer when it comes to immigration work.
June started her own firm focused exclusively on immigration based in Cape Town which was a very bold move for a new attorney and a foreign woman. She knocked the ball “out of the park” by delivering a better service, at a better price, and in person rather than through clerks. The clients love her. Independence, personal courage, the support of her family, are the supports upon which June’s successful journey traversed. June crossed an ocean as a Millennial seeking higher education in a foreign land, and rose up as a leader building her own firm in a male dominated profession and in an international firm captured market segment. June Luna is a leader who deserves our support.
