Regina Mundi and her Strategic Partners live the values we ask others to share. Our Global Initiatives support aims to reduce the knowledge gap between people of different cultures and improve the shared understanding of the next generation of community business leaders. The two Initiatives seek to have a “global” effect either on a micro or macro level by (i) exposing Global Scholars to foreign countries and people; and (ii) kick starting great ideas with a helping hand and some advice using our Impact Grants.

Global Scholars

The Global Scholars program encourages young adults to experience the world from the perspective of other nationalities. We sponsor immersion by the participants into the everyday experience of the people in another country. The objective is for Global Scholars to develop personal relationships with peers of different “worlds.” By doing so, they build bridges for future communications, trading relationships, and developing an understanding of the role of the individual in the vast global community.

Impact Grants

Regina Mundi identifies opportunities where a small amount of money can make a significant “impact” for an entrepreneur, innovator, social responsibility program, or community leadership program.

Over the years we have sponsored athletic uniforms for high school girls and farm based leagues (https://www.facebook.com/HSKanonkop/ ), environmental educational materials for school aged children distributed by non-profits ( https://capeleopard.org.za/news-media/news/story/footprints-in-the-fynbos-a-leopard-storybook) , participation fees for the World Transplant Games Federation (https://wtgf.org/ ) , and an environmental documentary (https://www.sdbfilms.com/stroopabout ).  Develop an Impact Grant project and describe it as set out in the guidance.
